User responsibilities
Those using gas have some responsibilities for the installation of gas supply equipment. They must:
- obtain a copy of the gas certificate to ensure appliances have been installed and commissioned correctly,
- make sure the gas supply equipment and appliances on the property comply with all legislative requirements,
- repair and maintain the gas supply equipment and appliances that are on the property beyond the point of connection, that is, from the gas meter into the property.
